Chain link fences use galvanized steel mesh and posts, providing a very durable and cost-effective solution for security (with the trade-off of less privacy). We can install a variety of styles (privacy, picket, ornamental, etc.) in these materials, and will include any gates or custom features you need.

Vinyl and chain link fences are generally the longest-lasting, lowest-maintenance choices. A quality vinyl fence can typically last 20–30 years with minimal care, and a galvanized or vinyl-coated chain-link fence can easily last decades as well with virtually no upkeep beyond the occasional rinse. Any reputable contractor should be able to provide their license number and proof of insurance – it’s a basic sign that you’re hiring a legitimate, professional operation. We’re happy to supply our licensing and insurance details upon request, and we comply with all relevant regulations to ensure your project is completed safely and to code.

It depends on your local regulations. Many cities and counties have permit requirements for new fences. During our quoting process, we’ll research your area’s rules and let you know if a permit or inspection is needed. If so, we can take care of obtaining the permit and scheduling any required inspections for you (we charge a small permit service fee for handling the paperwork). Our team will ensure your fence meets all applicable codes and HOA guidelines, so you don’t have to worry about the red tape.

Most projects move quickly. We can usually provide your initial quote within 24–48 hours, and once you approve it (and any needed permit is secured), we’re often able to schedule the installation within a few weeks. The on-site installation itself is relatively fast – under normal conditions our crew can install roughly 50–60 feet of fencing per day. In practical terms, a standard backyard fence of about 100–150 feet might be completed in just 2–3 days of work. Larger or more complex projects (or bad weather) can add a little extra time, but we’ll give you a clear timeline upfront and keep you updated throughout the process.

We accept all major forms of payment, including credit cards, checks, and cash, and we will outline the payment schedule clearly in your contract. Typically, a small deposit is due when you schedule the job, and the remaining balance is paid after the installation is complete. At this time we do not offer in-house financing or payment plans (we plan to add financing options in the future), so payment is due as described above. We never hit you with hidden fees – the quote we give covers everything, so you can budget with confidence.

We stand behind our work. Every Blueberry Fence installation comes with a craftsmanship warranty on our workmanship and we honor all available manufacturer warranties on the fencing materials. Our craftsmanship warranty covers any issues caused by installation defects (for example, problems with the fence’s fit, finish, or alignment), while the materials warranty covers any defects in the fence panels, posts, or hardware themselves. We even maintain a dedicated warranty reserve fund to back these promises long-term, and if you ever have an issue, we’ll guide you through the warranty claim process to make it right. Note that, like most warranties, ours won’t cover damage from things outside our control – for instance, misuse, extreme weather, or owner modifications are generally not covered (see your contract for a full list of exclusions).

Yes. If you have an existing fence that needs to come out, our team can take care of that as part of the project. We’ll include the removal and haul-away of your old fence in your quote (either built into the price or as a clearly listed option), so you know the cost upfront. Our installers will safely take down the old fence, dispose of all the debris properly, and leave your yard clean and ready for the new fence.
